For me … I tend to see the ancient gods as higher forms of Spirits that can help us … or hurt us … depending on the god, goddess or spirit … how approached and how worked with.

Skapari (aka. Creator) / Afi (aka. “Grandfather”) — The One Great Being

If there is one thing that carried over from the foundations of the original teachings shared with me, it is that there is one great being that we are all decended from and connected to. What many First People’s Tribes of the Americas refer to as “Creator” and / or “Grandfather.”

For me, I’ve chosen to use old Norse names for these just as each tribe uses the words of their own native language. But it all comes back to “Creator” and “Grandfather.”
